A holder of a doctoral degree from the Department of History of Science and Technology, National Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Kostas is working as a high school teacher. His previous academic degrees were in economics and business administration. In his doctoral research, he relied on perspectives from STS and Sustainable Transitions Studies in order to identify energy transitions pathways towards sustainability. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in projects hosted by the Department of History and Philosophy of Science. Kostas was also a co-teacher and an invited guest in classes of the undergraduate program of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, and of the graduate program “History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, delivering lectures on topics like “Sustainability Transitions”, “Science, Technology and the Environment”, “Governance, Technoscience and Democracy”, and “Environment, Knowledge, Toxicities”. He has participated in several conferences and has written articles related to these issues.
